Client Portal

This solution was a mix between standard and custom tables and processes in Pronto.

 

Objective

The objective of this project was to provide a solution which would enable our client to offer a web-based Client Portal for his customers.

Customer Logins to the Client Portal were required at 4 different levels, being Site Login, Random Site Login, Customer Account Login and Master Group Login. Further to the Login Account levels of access, access to various elements of the client Portal was to be controlled by security applied to “Customer Logins” managed in Pronto.

The system was also required to provide full visibility to our client of the level of usage of the Client Portal by his customers in the form of a second web portal.

Our client also wanted “Internal login” capability to the Client Portal, allowing his staff to log into the portal with the ability to find sites and accounts via a key word search and to use the Client Portal in the same manner as the customers.

 

Previous Manual Solution

All information required by customers would be requested in the traditional manner, by phone or by email. Information would then be gathered by internal staff and sent to the requesting customer.

 

New Mobility Solution

Our system provided a Client Portal User maintenance system in Pronto, where new Logins could be setup and access rights allocated or existing logins can be maintained.

Passwords can be resent, accounts suspended, passwords can expire and “Account administrators can be nominated”, allowing customers to manage their own Logins to their Client Portal via the Client Portal itself.

Information currently available via the Client Portal includes an asset listing, test sheet results, a reporting module for test result trends, access to Certifications and other documents held against the customer. Also available are full listing of Preventative Maintenance tasks, service jobs and projects undertaken for the customer. Each of these lists is available historically and for jobs in progress/planned jobs.

The Client Portal is very dynamic and new features are being added all the time.
